Punch newspaper texture article Punch Newspaper Texture has had a day off today after the death of its owner, John Smith, who was hit by an SUV on the A64 near Taunton.
Mr Smith, 66, died when he fell asleep while driving his van along the A66 on Saturday night.
He was taken to St Mary’s Hospital where he later died.
The paper is owned by News Limited, a division of News International, which was acquired by News Corporation in July.
A post-mortem examination will be conducted to establish the cause of death.
John Smith, pictured at the Taunport Hotel, died of head injuries when his van was struck by a car, police said.
Police have launched an investigation into the death and said the investigation will be led by the local police and the Crown Prosecution Service.

Formal inquiries are also underway into the crash on the highway between A44 and A71 in Northumberland.
